Hacienda del Cerezo lies in the middle of the Santa Fe Valley. We share a border with the Tesuque Pueblo, and the lands of Hacienda are astride the old route followed by the Tesuques as they traveled from the Tesuque River to the Rio Grande. Archeological sweeps identified "sites" along this route, with Native American artifacts collected along the Hacienda paths.
		Unusual for such a culturally rich city, one can access the vistas and emptiness of the high mountain desert within a few miles of the St. Francis Cathedral and the downtown plaza.
